Carol provides valuation and strategic advisory services to the corporate sector in the Asia Pacific region. She has more than 10 years of valuation and financial services experience. She is a co-founder and Associate Director of Spring Galaxy. 

Prior to co-founding Spring Galaxy, she worked as a Manager for an MNC valuation firm. She was responsible to assist the Managing Director for growing the practice in the Malaysia, execution of business, intangibles/ IP valuation assignments, staff and risk management as well as quality control.

Prior to that, Carol worked with a big 4 accounting firm in Malaysia focusing on assurance and audit services for clients in the financial services industry. She has considerable audit experience with banks, life insurers, asset management companies and unit trust funds as well as experience of reviewing IPO prospectus and proforma financial statements, performing agreed-upon procedures engagement and providing services in designing and creating a new financial reporting templates from a new accounting system.

Her experience includes, strategic advisory, financial modeling and valuation (business, equity, biological assets, mining projects, and intellectual property (IP)/ intangible assets) assignments in Australia, China (incl. Hong Kong), Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore and the United States. In addition, she has been involved on other transaction advisory and valuation related services including economic loss calculation, industries studies, research and commercial due diligence assignments.

She has been involved on projects with Government agencies as well as small to large private and public companies covering sectors such as: Agriculture, Bio-tech, Electrical Engineering, Energy/Power, Fertilizer, Fintech, Healthcare, Healthcare IT, IT, Manufacturing, Mining, Multimedia, Oil & Gas, Property & Real Estate, Telecom and Telecom Equipment.
