Michael provides valuation services to the corporate sector in Australia and in the wider Asia Pacific region. He has more than 30 years of valuation and related experience. He’s a senior consultant with Spring Galaxy.

Prior to Spring Galaxy, he has had roles as a director with KPMG Corporate Finance, PKF Corporate Finance and Glasshouse Advisory (which was part of the listed IPH Limited group) in Australia.

His experience includes valuation of shares, identifiable intangible assets and businesses for the purposes of independent expert reports, financial reporting, tax consolidation purposes, sourcing finance or the implementation of employee share or option schemes. He has also provided advice to company boards in relation to the allocation of capital and responses to unsolicited takeover offers.

Michael holds a Master of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales with majors in finance and economics and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Adelaide. He is an Associate member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Over the course of his career Michael has assisted clients including Macquarie Group, AMP Capital, the Australian Securities Exchange as well as several start-up entities in the technology, finance, education and healthcare industries.
